Halotherapy (Dry Salt Inhalation) is a form of alternative medicine that involves inhaling dry, micronized salt particles in a specially designed salt room to alleviate respiratory and skin health issues. Studies have also shown that the calming environment within the salt cave can also aid in stress and anxiety reduction.
The practice of halotherapy originated in Eastern Europe in the 12th century, when people spent time in naturally occurring salt caves after a Polish physician discovered that salt cave miners didn't have respiratory issues like other miners.
Today by using a halogenerator, we can replicate the anti-inflammatory and antibacterial environment of a salt mine or cave by dispersing micronized salt particles into the air, promoting respiratory and skin health through halotherapy.
